Ethnobiology
Ethnobiology is the scientific study of the way living things are treated or used by different human cultures. It studies the dynamic relationships between people, biota, and environments, from the distant past to the immediate present.
An EU group is broadening and managing a network of research organisations to promote a shared approach to biodiversity study. Outcomes include a mechanism for agenda-setting, creation of a large body of funds and dissemination tools.
